All Project Managers and Project Superintendents are equipped with a laptop computer, printer, wireless air card, digital camera and cellular telephone. This equipment allows the Project Managers and Project Superintendents to maintain communication and access to the company’s computer network at the corporate office. Key project information is available to Project Managers and Project Superintendents through a secure VPN connection. The ability to access project data and communicate with the Project Architect and Engineering Team Members, allows the EEI Construction Management Team to quickly resolve conflicts/issues with project drawings, specifications or existing field conditions to avoid costly project delays. Large scale construction projects, almost always encounter unforeseen or differing site conditions that can cause added expenses and project delays by establishing open lines of both, verbal and information/data communication, the time needed to resolve these types of issues is greatly reduced, thus minimizing project delays.
